So I decided to try ASDA first as they are a bit cheaper and seem to have a bigger selection. I have a Waitrose, Sainsbury's, and Co-op that I can walk to if I need anything else. Overall, I guess the delivery worked out well. My bread was a little squished, but it will be fine, and I didn't have to carry all of the stuff back to my house so that's a bonus.
I also decided to stock up on toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels while I was at it. However, I accidentally ordered man-sized tissues thinking it was just a bigger box...nope it's bigger tissues, completely unnecessary. Oh well, live and learn.
Are you supposed to tip the delivery guy?
Re: My grocery delivery came
I think grocery deliveries are the greatest invention ever and will miss it when we go back to the States. The only problem I have ever encountered is our delivery has been an hour to an hour and a half late sometimes and that is freakin' annoying when I'm waiting to start dinner.
Here I usually tip the guy 10 Shekels which is about $3.
