Two weeks ago we met some friends for dinner and drinks and stayed out for quite a few hours. It was really fun and I didn't know how much I had missed it. Then last week we went to a wine dinner which was awesome. L and I haven't gone on a date alone in probably a month or two so we need to be better about that.
In the last year we really haven't gone out that much, just the two of us. We are making it a goal though because it is so easy to get stuck in our routine at home.
We have a date scheduled for next weekend. It is dinner and drinks and then we are going out on the lake to listen to a concert on the waterfront. Can't wait!

Where did you go/what did you do? We went to our favorite Japanese steakhouse for sushi and karaoke
How often do you have date nights? Not often since Sam, but we try to get one once a month
Do you have another date night coming up? None yet, but since we've both received some sort of raise within the last couple of weeks, we're planning on going out to do something to celebrate

I feel like this really isn't applicable to Niners without kids haha.
Andy and I go out to dinner probably once a week and we normally do some kind of activity together (hiking, fishing, shopping, movie, wine tasting, etc.) once a week as well.
Last week we went out to dinner at a new restaurant. We would have done more but I was sick at the end of the week.
This week we're going to the carnival for dinner and fireworks and next week we're going to a baseball game.

No no, it totally is! It is exciting to read about your fun activities! It is my goal for this year to get back into a weekly date night/daytime activity routine, it is important!

When was the last date you and H went on? We went out like a month ago
Where did you go/what did you do? We went to Cheesecake Factory and saw a movie
How often do you have date nights? Not that often, but since we are together but without children, we more frequently go out to dinner or see movies (we see a movie a week and always have fun running stupid errands- last night we went to Costco and a small butcher shop- thrilling, no?)
Do you have another date night coming up? Nope.

This. haha. A date night isn't really a big deal to us.
Last night, we went out for Thai. We're going to the Space and Rocket Center tomorrow, just because we wanted to do something fun before school starts. May go to a movie in the park Friday night.

I know Mark and I were not good about this prior to Charlotte and we are worse now. We did leave her with a babysitter (my sister) to see Steely Dan a few weeks ago which was very nice but we both missed her. I need to find confident babysitters - my sister wasnt one.
We used to do lots of Friday night dinners and drinks but that has changed since Charlotte is around. We plan to do more now that I have returned to work. This month we are not counting since its birthdays and we are doing something for both of our birthday nights. We shall see how the rest pans out. I know my parents went on a date once a month at the minimum and around once every 2-3 weeks normally. This was always something nice for them. I plan to follow suit.
When was the last date you and H went on? - Umm...it was for Guy's birthday in June.

When was the last date you and H went on? when we were up in Snowmass for the culinary festival, we went to The Artisan restaurant up there. 4 course wine pairings menu, also shared a bottle of wine afterwards sitting out on the patio. Beautiful weather, up in the mountains, and the restaurant actually had a string quartet playing. Perfect if you ask me!

Do you have another date night coming up? mmm, probably in a few weeks or so. We have a lot of restaurant's we're dying to try.
We went on vacation 2 weeks ago just the two of us and got a lot of date time in. We had dinner out. We were home for a few days and had dinner at an amazing place one night and went to a movie the next night. We were supposed to do dinner and a movie, but we are old and were too tired.
We maybe have a date night once a month? It is hard with his schedule. His only full day off is Sunday's, and we often have a lot of family events. I hope by the end of the year he will be down to working one job and have Friday nights off.
We eat dinner together every night and probably go out to eat once a week or so, so we have a lot of time together. I guess our last date was on Sunday. We went for lobster rolls and then walked around Harvard Square, enjoyed some outdoor music, small shops, bookstores etc and then got frozen yogurt.
I think probably once a week we have time when we're doing either dinner or an activity together.
Well, certainly not this weekend since his family decided to have back to back parties in the middle of the day on both Saturday and Sunday. So maybe next weekend when we do Waterfire in Providence
