Thank you so much CD for updating everyone, and thank you all for the super sweet messages!
Labor... holy cow, that was rough! I was stalled at 4cm for almost 8 hours, and it was getting so hard/scary, even though I went into labor naturally, they felt the pitocin was necessary after 3 hours of no change, which resulted in an epi 2 hours later. After 22 hours of labor, I'm not even the least bit sad I didn't go natural! Once they told me to push, boy did I push! They made me stop after 6 to get the Dr. because she was about out!
She's doing really well and I'm recovering just fine. Here are a few photos. The second one cracks me up... I believe JJ has gotten the pouty lip from me quite a few times, looks like Violet's got her mama's habits already
