Cooks - Williams-Sonoma ?
I can't remember if I posted this before or not. I have a $100 g.c. to Williams-Sonoma as a "prize" from a program I did. I was going to buy the pasta maker attachment to my stand mixer, but now I'm thinking I might want something I would use more often.
The only things I have from there are a few whisks, an apron and some placemats so I don't have much experience with their stuff.
If you had $100 to spend there, what would you buy?

Re: Cooks - Williams-Sonoma ?
Oooo. This is a very good suggestion.
They have an amazing selection of cookbooks. They also sell some great sauces/marinades/crock pot starters.
You don't have to spend the whole $100 at once, so buy whatever strikes your fancy.
I like the little herb mill they have and really nice pepper grinders are a luxury worth having, IMO. Maybe you can upgrade some of the small kitchen stuff you already have?

I had a $100 gift card to Sur La Table and I bought a food dehydrator. Probably not something everyone is going to use everyday, and it reminds me that I have a watermelon in our other fridge to dehydrate!
I'd use it towards another good knife. The Le Creuset would be a choice if I needed any of those. I used another large value gift card towards a chefs choice 3-stage knife sharpener. It's basically what the stores use when you bring your knives in for sharpening.

i'm about to go buy this with a coupon i have: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/cuisinart-multicooker/?pkey=cpressure-rice-slow-cookers
otherwise if you only want to spend your gc, i love their soaps/lotions sets; they have good wine you can order; maybe a nice ss pan/pot; some of their gourmet spices that i normally wouldn't buy b/c they're not very versatile
really? i bought one and didn't find it useful at all. i would've just given mine to you
