Well, Daily Grill is out (unless we want to walk in) - no reservations until 1:15.
Teaism is still an option -- on H between 17th and 16th.(no reservations)
Shake Shack is an option, up on Connecticut. (no reservations)
What about something by Metro Center?

**butting in** You might want to try calling the restaurant. Sometimes places have openings even when none are listed on Open Table (assuming that's what you're using).

Okay, I am throwing my hands up in the air sometimes. It seems this is a little too hard to coordinate -- since lunches have finite start and end times and we need a plan farther in advance than two hours. (heck, we couldn't get a plan together last week, either, who am I kidding?)
I am still hungry and happy to meet whoever wants to go... but I need someone to be my personal Julie the Cruise Director and make the plan for me.

I have an emergency meeting :-( So I'm out.
It was probably kind of silly to try to plan something for the week between my boss's two week vacation and another week away. I am spending hours with her each day.
Life gets easier next week. We could make a reservation for one of those restaurants now for next week!
