As a preteen/teenager, what type of books did you like to read?
Babysitters Club, Boxcar Children and Goosebumps were some of my favorites.
Re: Books
The Thoroughbred Series was like crack to me.
I never really got into Nancy Drew or The Boxcar Children. Not my thing.
Liked Goosebumps though. My favorite one was the one where you'd pick your ending/storyline... Ex: Go to Page 47 if you think X.
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?

Pre-teen - Anne of Green Gables series, Little House series, Sweet Valley High series, The Borrowers series, Chronicles of Narnia series, The Great Brain series, all of Roald Dahl's books, EB White's books
Teen - I was mainly reading romance novels in high school, Xanth series, all of Agatha Christie's books
Nancy Drew and Sweet Valley Twins/High were my favorites, but I read a lot of the other stuff you guys mentioned as well - Babysitter's Club, Goosebumps & and other "horror" types, Thoroughbred & other horse series, Hardy Boys, and on and on and on.
I read a lot. I used to get in trouble for reading too much. (as in, reading when I should've been doing chores, sleeping, etc instead).
