  Hmm, I've never really looked into personality tests, but I just read a description of a C personality type and it fits me perfectly!  How interesting!  I work in compliance.  My job really mirrors the description that I read for this personality type.  My field is real estate, so I guess you would need to get a job in your field of expertise, and then try to work your way to doing compliance work?  I sort of made my own position at my company and it just worked out this way, but it fits me really well.  Good luck!

  I also would not use a personality test to gear my job. I stuck with what I was always drawn to. I am now working on a career change and it's something I never thought I would enjoy, but I love! I suggest getting out there and trying new things to see what you enjoy and what you are good at.

  I'm a paralegal and have been described as strong C in the past. In my work there is very little room for error and you have to be on the ball. I enjoy it tremendously and love coming to work everyday. I think a corporate paralegal job might be good for you. You would be responsible for creating joint ventures for companies, filing them with the appropriate agencies, working on corporate compliance issues, etc..

  I used to be a paralegal because I thought that I wanted to go to law school.  It was a good fit for me; however, there isn't really any room for career advancement as a paralegal.  You can never move up to attorney!  That was my problem, and after 4 years, I was bored and moved on.  However, it gave me valuable experience that I took to my new job and really helped me move into compliance work because I already had the legal expertise as a base.

  Thank you a lot; I'm very interested in the legal system so this just might be the answer for me.  Any advice on how to begin this career path change?  I'm assuming I have to obtain a certificate since my degree is in something else.  Is a legal assistant job a good place to start?

  I never got a certificate, but I don't know if the rules have changed since then (I started in 2004).  I got my job right out of college - I was actually hired as an administrative-type person, but three weeks in, they saw my potential and made me a paralegal.  At my firm, we considered "legal assistant" and "paralegal" to mean the same thing.  The legal secretaries worked for the attorneys and the paralegals.  Unfortunately, the legal market has been hard hit by the economy and I don't know much about getting into a firm now.
