Ask me! Ask me!

I was JUST thinking how we needed to do this.

Ask away, and yes, make it gooooood.

  • Would you still think Zach K (from HS) was hot if I told you he once gave me a financial statement to edit that had his boogers wiped on it?

I was so disgusted and I slammed one of the partners doors shut and lost it in his office. Yuck. Ps- he is the biggest slob ever to work around.

  • didn't it hurt to run being so pg?
  • Do your boys beat each other up? (in a playful way of course)

Thank god, no!  I carried crazy high and drank prune juice like it was going out of style.  In fact, I STILL drink prune juice every morning. Big Smile

.That is beyond gross!  Less hot, for sure!

(Although as someone who can launch a snot rocket on a run a very impressive distance, I'm probably not as repulsed as I could be.  Maybe he was running through the parking lot with the report?)

Nope, not at all.  It wasn't until I pulled a muscle in my back doing prenatal yoga for the first time that things got uncomfortable.  Running actually kept me from getting sore.

Again, I carried really high with a long torso.  I never had any hip or pelvis pain, thankfully, because that sounds miserable.

Not really yet.  They climb on each other and wrestle a little, but nothing yet.  It's only a matter of time though...

Six months!  For the record, I was ready MUCH sooner.  Guys in his fraternity kept knocking up their girlfriends, and he was freaking out.

  • How did you get into running and what is your routine now? (boring but I'm trying to get back into running and curious).

How did you get into running and what is your routine now? (boring but I'm trying to get back into running and curious).
I've been an athlete all my life, but it wasn't until my senior year of HS that I got into just running.  It was between basketball and track season, and I was climbing the walls at home.  My dad goes, "you have too much energy, go run, you'll feel better."  I loved it.

My routine now is just to run as much as possible.  I run with the boys every day that I can.  We go 5+ miles right after work assuming it's below 88 degrees.  I try to run 6-10 miles on Saturday and Sunday alone, since I need the me time.  Right now, I'm trying to decide it I want to run the Omaha half in September.  I'll get a little more structure in my training if that's the case.

Congrats on getting back into running!  This is the PERFECT time of year to do it.

Do you think (or do you know if) you have ever had an eating disorder? A full blown one, no.  My self-esteem has always been quite healthy, so it wouldn't get that far.  I've had eating "issues" my entire life though.  It's more of a control thing, I think.

How would you and your H react if one or both of your boys were gay? I'd be sad that they'd have to go through all the shitty stuff of being "different", but I'd like to think I'd love them just as much.  DH would probably have issues if he were crazy, over-the-top, but I'd like to think he'd love them just as much too.

What is your favorite brand of running apparel? Pearl Izumi shoes, Nike shorty shorts, and Under Armour tops and cold weather.

What is your favorite room in your house?  Probably the family room.  We have an open ranch, so you can see everything going on.

  • How many marathons have you run?

What do you think you'll do about DS2's spot?

How many marathons have you run? 1.  My biggest regret in life is not doing more marathons and an Ironman triathlon before having kids.  Getting into marathons happened the same time as TTC.  When we started having problems, the doctors recommended less activity and weight gain.  Now I just don't have the time to train for a race that long, sadly.

What do you think you'll do about DS2's spot?  If it's not gone by 3, we'll look into treatment.  Lasers would probably be quicker, but that sounds scary as hell.  Steroid creams sound less scary, but I'd prefer not to expose him to a bunch of drugs if possible.

Either way, I wouldn't send him to school with it looking like it does.

A good friend of mine had twins and her boy had a spot but it was right under his eye. They justed turned 3 and its completely gone so hopefully works out for you too! I know she said they would have done something if it wasn't gone by then.

I think the chances of it going away on it's own are pretty good (hemangioma, right?) Lasers are way less scary than you might think, and don't have the risk of scarring like surgery would. I get you on the steroid thing though. I hope you don't have to do anything.

Ha!  Totally.  You're just far more social than me though.  I'm way lame. I don't hang out with anybody. Big Smile
