I thought the same thing. I've never heard the name Mayem before but I think it's really pretty.
Also, can I make one snarky comment. Most of them - including threemarie's sister - seem intelligent and down to earth but there are a few that seem like they would be great for a Midwest version of Rock of Love.

My brain wants to say "Mayhem" when I see Mayem. :-) Maybe it is pronounced like Mayim Bialik? MY-im?
And would Markee be MARK-ee like Marky Mark, or Mark-EE like marquis?
Then there is Taylaur. Is that supposed to be Taylor? My brain says Tay-lower like flower. Hah.
That's what I thought when I first looked at it too and then my mind flashed to American Gladiators because they always had names like that. On second glance, I noticed it's Mayem which sounds pretty.
Keep us posted on how your sister does. I voted.
