How can I get this cookware clean?
I made a couple batches of meatballs last night to freeze and the sauce on one set of them burned onto the (nonstick) baking sheet. The others cleaned off fine, but this one will.not.budge. It has soaked overnight and I've soaked it in Dawn and I can still barely manage to even chip it off with a knife and brute force. Am I going to have to call this baking sheet a loss and just toss it? Any other suggestions/something I could add to soak it in? Thanks!
Re: How can I get this cookware clean?
Try soaking it in automatic dishwasher powder.
Put clean water and about a tsp of Dawn in it and then heat it in the oven for about 15 minutes. Then try cleaning it.
Bon Ami, baking soda, or soft scrub are possible ideas... OTOH, depending on if you have these or not, you may be better off to purchase stainless steel ones from Restaurant supply... I honestly gave up on non-stick for everything except two frying pans. It's so much easier to clean the stainless steel pots/pans/cookie sheets/etc. The simple reason is because it's just simply easier to clean the stainless steel and I really don't end up using any extra oil or anything when I really analyzed it on my recipes.
