I thought I would share with you lovely ladies. Here is a link to a sneek peak from James' photos last week. I am so incredibly happy with them.

Oddly part of my "baby blues" has been this irrational fear of him growing up. I start to panic if I even think about it. But now having pictures of him from this stage somehow helps. Now I will forever have a visual of him from this age.
Re: James' newborn photo shoot! LIP
Those are beautiful, he is so handsome!
And I love the nursery
Agreed! My favorite is the one of you holding him in the chair. What a perfect, quiet moment during a time that can be such a whirlwind.
Friggin Adorable.
And I LOVE your nursery!!
Adorable photo shoot!
And I agree, your nursery looks great. I know you had some concerns about it, but I think it turned out really well.
He's adorable!!! And Hoek - doesn't that rocket blanket look familiar??? The nursery is lovely!

I love the baby smile shot! I really like the nursery. You look great (even if you didn't just have a baby).
I'm glad the photos seem to calm your anxiety about him growing up. I think I understand what you mean. But try to remember that the next stage is fun, and the one after that, and after that... If you need to talk, you know where I am.
Oh sorry, forgot to comment on this.
My advice is to take a ton of pictures & video and enjoy every minute you can. And I hate when people say the latter because guess what, things will get tough at times so don't feel guilty if you aren't savoring being drenched by your son who forgot to "push it down" while sitting on the potty.
I am having a tough time because I know I have to get rid of stuff and it means I have to go through baby clothes and I'm pretty sure I am going to be emotional. I just am happy for all of the pictures I took (even if they are jammed up on my computer :-).
Yes! Ha! I love that blanket!
