Again

haha. B is taking a nap and I'm too lazy to do anything else. Ask away!
Re: Me too!
Why did you quit writing in your blog? I loved following your story and think you are such an awesome person for going through such a long adoption process- I've often wondered how you were doing and what B is up to. Please update us sometime!
Are you close to your SIL I know?
Will you adopt again?
Are you still doing your photography?
Any and all questions that relate to his birth family or reason for relinquishment.
I think everything I have to say now is probably really personal and I just don't want it out there, if that makes sense. Doing pretty good. We took him out of school last week - so now I'm trying to manage staying at home full time with him, while also working my regular job from home. We are still trying to finalize things here in the US which is a nightmare. The judge is making us get a new home study done, new child abuse checks, and new fingerprints. You normally have one court date and we will have multiple ones. It has been a complete nightmare and I can't wait for it to be done!
Out of all DH's siblings, she's the one I'm closest with - but I'm still not really close with her. We talk maybe once or twice a week on Facebook.
Yes. We are actually picking up our new family member in about 3 weeks. You are talking dogs, right?!
As for humans, if we ever decide to have another, we will adopt; but I think we're good with one
Yes. I'm too nervous to pull the trigger on doing it as a business opportunity though. So, for now I just stick to giving framed prints as presents
lol
What is your favorite dog breed?
How did you and your H meet?
Do you enjoy living in NY more than NE?
You took your dog to the vet, didn't you? Some people wouldn't even do that . . . .
I think ever since I was little. Always had pets in the house. Timmy really opened my eyes to the world of puppy mills and learning about them has completely changed my life.
I didn't want to practice law in any way, but just wanted a better understanding of Employment Law. I work in HR and love the field of Employee Relations (which deals a lot with Employment Law). So, I went to law school and got my masters. UNL is one of only 3 or 4 schools in the country that offer the program. It was nice - I only had to take a few 1L classes and then was able to take all classes dealing with HR/Employment Law, Immigration Law, etc.
Who was your favorite teacher?
Least favorite?
I really liked Professor Shavers (Immigration and Gender/Race/Class Issues). I also really liked my Mediation and ADR professor who was a visiting professor and my Corporations teacher who now teaches at a different school.
Well, Denicola made me feel stupid every day.
If you went to UNL, you know you must now answer these questions as well
Favorite - Landis, Wittler, Lenich
Least - Denicola. I did terrible in contracts. I answered one of the wrong questions on my exam and it was not pretty. I almost dropped out of law school over that mistake. Contracts didn't make sense to me until I started studying for the bar exam. Potuto was also interesting.
Well, I didn't have any of those teachers haha
The only 1L classes I took were the full year of contracts and the first half of LR&W. Everything else was whatever I wanted - which was nice. The problem is I was taking upper level classes my first semester in law school and many of the concepts were built on principles you learn in other 1L classes. I remember being in Immigration and there was a whole section on court scrutiny that everyone else knew what it was and I was just like what have I gotten myself into haha.
Yes - contracts made no sense to me. It's like I understood it, well thought I did, but couldn't apply it at all. That was the worst class even with all the supplements I had and it was also my lowest grade haha. I seriously remember him asking a question in class. No one answered and he said "You guys seriously aren't that stupid, are you?" Ummm. Yes. Apparently we are
I don't really even remember his final. Did we get to choose which questions we wanted to answer? Well, good thing you stuck with it and graduated!
Good for you! I have major respect for people who graduated from law school.
I heard Potuto is a toughie . . . .
I just checked the faculty list and of all the professors still there, the only ones I had were Lawson, Denicola, Shavers, and Medill. All others were visiting, only teach during the summer, or are no longer there.
There was a host of questions. He said do problems 3, 6, and 9 then we were to ignore the other problems. Well I did question 8 or the wrong number... I didn't figure it out until afterwards when I was talking to my classmates about how they answered their questions. It was a dumb mistake.
