anyone have a silhouettte sd?
I need some help! I have had mine for along time but havent used it.
I need to make some wedding shower invitations. It's a peacock theme, so I found a peacock card in the store. I want to use this card but also have writing on the front and inside.
How do I do this? Do I run the paper through a regular printer first and then go back through and cut the design out on the silhouette? Is this even possible?
Or do I use a sketch pen? I'm such a newbie but I know there has to be a way to do this!! Please help!

Re: anyone have a silhouettte sd?
I have one but I can't picture exactly what you want.
I think you'd run it through the printer first (you can set up your page margins to match the printed areas) and then through the silhouette, just because printers can rip any smaller pieces of paper.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I just ordered mine today.
But when I had a lesson @ the Paper-Source, I was told that you can send it to a printer right from the sil software.
Edit Note *** definitely print first***
You would need to print first because your printer probably won't like running an "odd" shape through (at least mine wouldn't)!
I haven't done it, but you can create your project with the Silhouette software and print from there so that the cutter "knows" where to cut later.
That probably made no sense...
