21st B-day
I was thinking the other day about 21st B-days (don't ask me why). I was trying to remember what I did for my 21st and for the life of me I could not remember. I had to ask Richard what we did, and it turns out we went to Vegas! Drunken weekend in Vegas...yeah that could be why I didn't remember.

I believe my 21st was on a Sunday. That Saturday we had a party at my apartment in college. I really wanted to take a shot at midnight on my actual bday, I didn't make it. We have MAY pictures of me puking in the bathroom with my friends around me. It could have been the many shots of goldschlugar(sp?) that I took when my close group of friends first came to my house.
Sunday on my actual bday my parents came to take me to lunch. My dad laughed at me all lunch because I was VERy hungover. That night I went to a college bar with a couple friends.
My 21st I didn't do anything on the day of besides go to work since it was a monday.
The weekend before my birthday was 2nd annual Rockin the Windfarm. Greatest Windfarm so far, great friends, alot of laughs, I showed up some youngin who thought he could jitterbug (he sucked I worked his arse) and then some drunkin huntin. I also drank an entire bottle of Captain and woke up the next morning with no hangover. Win!

Went to dinner with my parents for my 21st. It was our first weekend back at college after winter break and my bestie wasn't yet 21 so we just hung out in our room so she could join the festivities & had lots of visitors
No idea.
We don't have drinking limits where I grew up. I had my first shots in a bar at the age of 15. Turning 21 is pretty insignificant to us. I was living in the US when I turned 21, but I don't remember if we did anything special or not.
Vegas would have been fun though

There is a tradition amongst my dad and his group of friends. They all take whoever's kid is turning 21 out to the bar and everyone is invited. It's a ton of fun. So I spent mine at the bar with my dad and all of his friends and their kids who were already 21, plus one of my college roomates and other friends from home who had already turned 21. It was a ton of fun.
In addition, we did a nice dinner out, and my mom's side had a party for me. And back at college we went out and tore $hit up. Good times.
Mine was a Saturday also. So on Friday, my MOH had a party at her apartment for me (she's a year older) so we drank at home and then went to the bar so I could go in at midnight.
Later Saturday, I had dinner with my parents and one of my friends. After dinner my friend took me to a bar.
So I got to go to bars all weekend for my 21st.

Please be in awe at the no hangover (I've only had 1 after a bad night with vodka).
Do not be scared of the whole bottle of Captain consumption. For some reason me and Captain have a pretty darn good relationship and we haven't had any fights.
went to dinner wtih my parents and gerren. gerren tried to throw a surprise party for me after, but at the time i had a total of 4 friends where i lived and non of them were 21. so we got home, there were 4 20 year olds, and then i had to turn around and leave to buy us booze. pretty lame night.
jessie, worst hangover i ever had was when i was 22 and drank an entire bottle of captains. i still love it, but man, after that i went 3 or 4 months wihtout a drop to drink.

LOL, not trying to be snarky or anything but the last part was pretty of your story was pretty funny.
On my 21st birthday, which was in 1999 (cough, cough) - I just moved into my first apartment with my BFF and her BF at the time. I rented a limo, invited a few friends and we rode said limo into SF and went to 2-3 dance clubs, lol. It wasn't a huge deal because my BFF and I were already getting into 21 & up when we were 19 but since I was legally able to do so w/no fake ID it was still fun.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
I had a party with my family, we did dinner,cake, ice cream presents and Scattegories LOL
Then I went to the store, bought a six pack of Parrot Bay and drank a few while watching Super Troopers. It was incredibly relaxing, I felt no need to go pay $$ to end up with a hangover.
