Planned Eating and Exercise for Thursday

I still feel yucky. Yesterday I had pasta and rice..maybe I'll make some whole wheat pancakes in a bit..that sounds somewhat appetizing.

  • I didn't meet my calorie goals yesterday by quite a bit. I was supposed to eat 1700 to be able to net 1200 after exercising (shred and running burned a lot) but I only ate 700. No wonder I felt like crap last night.

    Trying to do better today:

    B: rice cereal and apple sauce

    s: chai tea latte and blueberry scone

    L: chicken burger with vegan cheese and fruit

    D: whole wheat pasta with marinara and baked chicken

    E: 30 DS - those squat press moves definitely don't get easier. My shoulders were burning.

  • Panda... 700 calories is worriesome... Is there any way you can add protein to your breakfast... like cottage cheese or whole wheat toast with low fat peanut butter? Can you incorporate another afternoon snack, maybe almonds or cottage cheese, something with protein? With as much running and working out as you do, you have me worried, girl.

    B: the leftover half of my Chipotle chicken salad... I am soooo addicted...

    S1: I'll probably have a banana.

    L: Hmmm, I'm thinking probably something out b/c I'll be coming from work, Subway or maybe Wendy's chicken sandwich and baked potato....

    S2: Not sure, I may go get some cottage cheese today so maybe that with raisins, maybe some almonds or a piece of whole wheat bread with peanut butter.

    D: Whole wheat pasta with spaghetti sauce and ground turkey (and there will be some rf cheese in there, too)

    Make sure its not the recalled ground turkey!

    It was just yesterday that I was so low in calories. Usually I have the opposite problem! lol. I really think it has to do with me being so tired after working out and then immediately running off to work without thinking about recovery meals. I just need to plan better

    I tend to get all the protein, iron, and other essential nutrients throughout my day in the form of chicken/turkey at lunch and dinner or dark greens on the side of those meals. I'll probably pick up some hummus today to work in for a bit of a boost too.

    I would LOVE to have some cottage cheese (who am I kidding, ANY cheese) or almonds/nuts, but unfortunately my body rejects those and I can't have them! Beans and dark greens have been really great for ensuring I have my necessary protein without having to pack in the meat.

  • B:  fruit and yogurt

    L:  Maybe a grilled cheese with tomato from my garden (one of the few the squirrels didn't get...)

    S:  Whatever I can find in the cupboard - we're leaving for vacation soon and I haven't gone to the market. Maybe a handful of almonds or something.

    D:  Chicken.  Don't know how I'm making it.

    E:  This morning at the gym I did crunches and ran/walked 4.75 miles on the treadmill with my mom.  Tonight we'll also do a 3 mile hilly walk.

  • I was at work all day and didn't get a chance to post.

    B - egg

    L - double cheese burger with pickles, lettuce and tomato with out the bun. (protein style)

    D - can of tuna chunk light in water, I mixed with it chopped up pickles, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese some blue cheese crumbles and the new olive oil mayo. It's actually really good!

    S - string cheese, I think that was it.

    Panda how are you tracking your calories? I have an app on my ipod I keep forgetting about. How do you calculate the 30 DS?

    My Food for today ended up 

    Brunch: Whole Wheat pancakes

    Dinner: Ramen

    Snack: 2 glasses wine

    E: Dance your A$$ Off

    Feeling better after dinner if you can't tell by my snack....
