  Are you a Red Sox fan?  If so, I sleuthed it out!

  A couple people did it for privacy after some psycho girl on the bump called DSS on another poster. Then other people got the idea that it might be good to be less recognizable on here too. For me, my old name is what I used to use for everything and I wanted to be less obvious about my identity. And yes, sox fan here

  Good news on the Sox.  Crazy as bat sh!t news w/ the DSS business. 

  For real, that's crazytown.  I don't even know the specific issue, but OMG, it's the internet.  Short of someone posting something truly threatening (ie no joke (not that anyone should ever joke about it) suicidal or out of control (ie no kidding-- 'I can't control it anymore and I'm going to shake my infant' post)), why on earth would you need to engage at that level?

  It was discussed in detail a couple weeks ago but in a nutshell, one girl said she sometimes takes baby out of carseat on long trips. Others freaked about how unsafe this was and one tracked down the poster's real identity.

  I thought the Ethiopian flag avatar might help too. But then you'd have to know that's an Ethiopian flag--kinda obscure
