Anyone been to Water Country in Williamsburg lately?

We are going this weekend and I'm trying to figure out if there are any shady areas or if we need to pay for an umbrella or cabana to have some shade. TIA!

Re: Anyone been to Water Country in Williamsburg lately?

  • We went when it was a 100 degree heatwave and didn't rent anything like that. It was both my brothers, 5 nieces and nephews, my husband, my parents and everyone remembers that trip to WIlliamsburg as being awesome even though we did it a few years ago.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, we'll have our 2.5 month old with us so we HAVE to have some shade. Do you happen to reminder if there were shady areas around the park?

  • I remember it (from eons ago) being among the trees, but there weren' ta lot of places to actually sit in the shade especially if it's a weekend and crowded.  If I needed to have shade guaranteed, I'd get one of the umbrellas with chairs at least.
