I'm helping my sister throw together a last-minute get-together for Saturday night, for about 10 people, give or take a couple. Most of the girls coming are dieting, but will be bringing their SOs too. We're trying to think of yummy but low-cal party foods that will still be good enough to serve the guys. We'd prefer finger-food-style munchies, or at least something you can eat while standing.
Any suggestions?
Re: Fitness Girls, come in!
hummas is my favorite thing to make! It is fairly healthy, you can dip it with veggies (or pita for the guys) and pretty easy to make. Everyone I've made this for loves it!

I make a chicken taco recipe thats always a hit at pot lucks and pretty healthy
1-2 lbs chicken breast
juice of 1 lime
1/2 small can tomato sauce
a pinch of ceyenne
add everything to a put and add just enough water to cover the chicken
Cook on low or in crockpot until chicken is tender
Add in a large jar of chunky salsa, 1 cup frozen corn and 1 tsp sugar then mix it up and cook until corn is hot.
Serve with sour cream and corn shells.
Sassy!
My step-grandma makes these delicious snacks out of rye bread, low-fat cream cheese, red onion, and smoked salmon. She mixes some dill weed in the cream cheese and spreads it on the mini rye bread slices, then places a small piece of onion and salmon on top. My dad is really conscious of his diet and he loves these!

Now that sounds like a party!
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys
So half healthy, half not are bacon wrapped dates. Just pit the dates, wrap in bacon and bake.
Maybe even just chicken satays, can't go wrong with grilled chicken strips on a stick!
I have a delicious recipe for low-fat turkey meatballs. They just go in the crock-pot - easy peasy!!!
I'll take a look around and see if I can find it!
