Well... he just got a new car. It's a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR.
It's pretty much the car he's always wanted. I'm happy for him and I'm hoping that it will make him want to get out more and meet new people.
He's started posting on car forums and talks about the things he wants to do to it and I have no idea what he's talking about.
What kind of cars does your H like?
Don't get me wrong, I like cars. I don't know a lot about them but I like them. Maybe we should get our H's together, Dollfinn.

I LOVE Mustangs. One of our neighbors reviews cars for an auto magazine (not sure which, now I'll have to ask), and when we met him and he told us, I told him my only requirement was when he got to review a Mustang, he had to take me out for a drive.
Guess who has a white 2012 with a black canvas top in his driveway right now? And he's already told DH to have me come over this weekend for a drive. I'm SO freakin' excited! I mean, I'd prefer a 60's model, but oh well!

No mods any time soon b/c he is broke from the hefty down payment me made. I think he's looking at spending his bonus next year on doing something. I can't say that I understand what. Perhaps this will be a new bonding experience for he and I.
I don't think I'll mind it. I think there is track about 30-40 miles away in Holt, FL (aka the middle of nowhere). One of the guys that H works with goes out there and he's the one that told H about the car show tonight. I'm thinking we'll go out there one day.
The problem with our area (and I'm sure Jax is similar) is most of the guys that have cars like his are young military guys and that's really not our crowd.
Yes, I'll be sure to let you know if I see any. One of the notable used car dealers gets Cobras and Saleens quite frequently.
There's an area mustang show ever year. We've been every year since we met.....we actually offically met AT the show 10 years ago. hehe
