i ordered a 130-page blurb book on Sunday night. i paid for regular, nothing fancy shipping. i had that sucker in my hands last night. the quality is amazing. i am very very happy with it and almost, i said almost, ready to chuck my scrapbook stuff in lieu of these.

This is a stupid question, but what is a blurb book? I've seen other posts on this, but have never quite figured out what it is.

I haven't gotten my blurb book yet (still working on one for DS, converted from my blog during his first year)... but I did try Picaboo, and LOVED it as well. I am trying blurb because of their convert from blog feature, but if you are just doing one from scratch, it's worth trying Picaboo, too

Strug - if it's making you think of giving up scrapbooking - did you scan ticket stubs and stuff to include them in the book? That's the main stuff I include in - ticket stubs, programs, brochures from museums, etc. I usually have a scrapbook and a separate photo album for each year. But, I can see scanning flat stuff and maybe keeping a box with multi-page items, like programs. I'm just not sure I could bring myself to get rid of the originals, though.

note i said "almost" i have a little bag of all that kind of stuff and i kept a journal during the trip that i did not include in the burb book...so i will still do a mini scrapbook (and i mean i may or may not have bought some Spain specific paper prior to the trip Embarrassed )
