Books on toddlers
Do you think it's pointless for me to buy What to Expect the Second Year now that C is going to be 17 months old on Saturday? There is What to Expect the Toddler Years but it's from 1994 and amazon says "a newer version is available" and points to the 2nd year book.
Also, funny - we went to the pool and there was a dad reading "How to Raise Smart Kids for Dummies" would you be reading that out in public? I laughed and laughed.

Good point, you can Google anything and I do find baby center helpful. I really liked Baby 411 for the first year so maybe Toddler 411. I did buy this book though http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0671317741 "The Toddler's Busy Book: 356 Creative Games to Keep Your 1 1/2 to 3 year old Busy"
Just to see if there are ideas for things to do with him. I'm a nerd. I'll probably give it to my mom since he's there all day.
oh i loved baby411. i should mail that to dani now that i think about it. i didn't even know they had a toddler one.
i should look into that other book. i spend too much $ taking her out on tuesdays and thursdays. LOL she's bored at home. i created a monster taking her out all the time in the beginning so now she's so damn nosey she needs to see people.

Yep, when I'm home every other Friday with him we almost always go to Target in the afternoon and tomorrow will be no different except we're adding in Michaels too. In the morning I try to play outside but our yard is boring and tiny. We just tried out the pool near our house so that could be an option now but that's kind of a pain. I feel guilty he's not around other kids much so something to engage him will be fun. It's supposed to come tomorrow (next day shipping - woot!) - I'll let you know what I think!
