How is everyone today? Yay weekend!
No wine last night, I was too busy mowing the lawn.
Mind you, it's sort of my fault, because I was watching shows on TLC until too late. I ended up finishing up the lawn in the dark! At least it looks good today, I was a touch worried I'd missed some strips and would have a mohawk lawn.
Tonight we're heading off to Derek's parents place for the weekend. I also convinced my carpool partner to drive in this morning, so hopefully I can take off a bit early when Derek's driving through.
What does everyone have on the go this weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Friday!!
Okay, don't get me wrong, I am glad that Ed has renewed his interest in golf and that he is getting out and exercising because I have been giving him grief about needing to be more active...BUT I have been alone all week for dinner except the one night I went and walked the golf course with him and we went out. Since I am still on vacation, this is making for a bit too much in the way of alone time for me...I am starting to go a little batty. That, and he has come home too tired for any "yoga" (which does not help the TTC process...). So we were looking forward to yoga this morning and then he remembered he had an early meeting. GRRRR! (/vent).
Anywho...not sure what the plans are for this weekend. Ed may or may not play golf tonight after work. He's not playing tomorrow though, so we will spend the day together and I think we may go out to breakfast (he won breakfast for two at his twilight league last night) either Saturday morning or Sunday morning.
The only other plans for me are a run, a trip to Walmart today (ha, super exciting, I know) and getting more work done for my class. Class is over next week, so I need to finish up the readings and then start planning my ten page paper that I need to do early next week. I also picked up a couple new books at school yesterday and it is sunny, so I think sitting on the deck and reading will take up a chunk of the day.
Have a great weekend ladies!

Good morning! I'm very happy it's the weekend. Nothing much going on; the H and I plan on meeting up, buying a six-pack of beer to split (most likely Landshark, though I hope we can find lemonade shandy), and then ordering in. Tomorrow we have a plan to get up, write for 1.5 hours, hit the gym, then finish our cabinet lining project (yay!). The rest of the day will be for spending outside and going to the grocery store. Sunday will be more of the same with the writing and the gym, then doing what we want for the rest of the day.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and that Friday moves along quickly.
Blender - Boo at your husband on missing out on some great "yoga."
TGIF! What a week, so glad that I am only working a 1/2 day, then heading over to a campground for our team outing. I am wicked excited! NOT! I'm sorry I like my co-workers and all, but I am all set with getting in my bathing suit (which I will not be) in front of co-workers. I can't play volleyball because of my bad wrists. So instead I know I will end up sitting right next to the food, pigging out on things I shouldn't be. UGH.
Tonight we drop the boys off to my dad & step mothers. I'm a little nervous since it really is their first time being alone with the boys, and over night to boot. I just remind myself I will only be 40 minutes away so I can come home if need be. I am ready for an adult weekend though. I love my boys with all my heart, but now that they are walking around, holy crap I am tired. You would think chasing them around would help with the weight loss.
Anyhow sorry that got long, have a great weekend ladies, and if rain hits I may check in over the weekend.!
Hello all.
No work today so my plan is to get out in a bit for a 10 miler. Between work and other things, I haven't had a chance to get a long run in for a few weeks and it's only supposed to be 85 at the hottest today so hopefully it will be okay. I'm going to drive to the trail behind my Dad's house and run without my glasses
I really hope I don't trip on anything.
Otherwise today will be a bunch of running around since we close on our new house next Thursday. I also have a haircut (haven't cut it since March) and I need to renew my drivers licence and plate sticker soon so I might do that today. I'll have to see how motivated I end up.
Last night I was on call and I ended up with a page that, again, led to me having to go into the hospital. That was 3 on call shifts in a row! I can't believe my bad luck with this lately. Didn't get home until about midnight.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
It's our anniversary weekend and I am soooo excited about our Fat Duck reservations tomorrow. My expectations for the meal are pretty high and I hope we won't be disappointed.
Sunday we'll be taking it easy on our actual anniversary. Good breakfast (creme brulee french toast - yum!) and then massages before cooking a nice meal at home. No doubt we'll fit a bath and some yoga in there too.
Since we'll be pretty lazy the rest of the weekend, hopefully we can be productive tonight. I have to place a grocery order and make some progress on travel plans for next weekend and when my parents are here in a few weeks.
Happy friday all!

Good morning, ladies.
We're heading to a condo in the mountains with our BFF couple friends for the weekend. Bike ride tomorrow, then hiking a 14,000 foot mountain on Sunday. Can't wait to get out of town. It seems like the summer is gone already (boo).
Have a great day, everyone!
Good morning! Last night my mom invited herself to spend the night with us tonight. She hasn't decided for sure yet if she's coming or not. My house is far from spotless right now but there's not too much that I can do about that at this point. Tomorrow we have the farmer's market. If my mom doesn't come up tonight she'll definitely be in town for the market tomorrow. She's planning on meeting up with my aunt. I'm not really sure what they have planned but I'm sure that I'll end up visiting with them. Sunday will be my usual housework and laundry.
Have a great weekend, ladies!
Good Morning! We should be on the road to the beach right now, but some middle of the night yoga caused us to severely oversleep. DH ran out to get a haircut, and we are hoping to be on the road in the next hour. We are going to Seaside for the weekend (hopefully we can avoid running into any of the Jersey Shore cast). Tomorrow night we are planning on going out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Sunday my parents arrive, and we will spend the rest of the vacation with them.
Have a great weekend ladies!
Good morning! I was planning on working a full day today rather than leaving at noon so that I can get caught up on a few things before we go out of town next week, but now I'm having seconds thoughts and really just want to go home and take a nap.
Tomorrow we have a parade for my bosses District Attorney campaign then J and I are heading to the fair with some friends. Sunday I reluctantly agreed to go with J to Rocky Mountain Truck Fest to watch a few performance diesel shows - oh the things we do for our husbands! Then we are going to a going away party for my cousin who is in the peace corps and will be living in Guatemala for the next 27 months.
Have a good weekend, ladies!
This weekend looks like this:
Friday night - nothing, but we may have some family sleeping over again. Laundry and menu planning.
Saturday - IUI in the morning in Rockville, then epic GP GTG in Baltimore, then last dinner with family before they all head back to Tennessee. And I got peaches at the farmers market yesterday and want to make cobbler, but the still need to ripen.
Sunday - Our anniversary. Brunch at Georgia Brown's, then napping, then grocery shopping and Lord knows what else.

Hey all!
I'm itching to leave the office (I can leave a bit early today -around 4, yay!) and then I'm off to the gym and H is in town so he's meeting me after my workout so we can go out for drinks and maybe a light dinner. There's a new lounge soft opening tonight in the neighborhood, so maybe we'll try that out. Neither of us can resist a place with fried pickles on the menu, yum!
Tomorrow, we're hoping to fit in yoga in the morning (i.e. real yoga at a studio....but hopefully the other kind too!) then head to the beach for the afternoon. No set plans for Sunday...I'd like to get out of the city for a bit, so perhaps we'll take a little day trip somewhere.
Not sure what we are doing this weekend. Probably some celebrating, some sort of Anniversary thing. I do plan to go to the gym.
Morning ladies. I'm working today and so excited it's Friday. This has been such a long week and I'm ready for the weekend. Tonight DH and I are going shopping for his friends daughter's birthday party tomorrow. We're also going out for dinner but not sure where to yet.
Saturday we're going to said party and after that headed to celebrate SIL's birthday at her new house.
We don't have any plans for Saturday but I imagine I'll be cleaning, doing laundry and trying to get some rest. Have a good weekend ladies.
We're having date night tonight! We're going to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes. This time Sean got to pick the movie because I picked the last movie we saw (crazy, stupid, love which was pretty funny and good btw)
Then this is the only weekend I don't have fully booked until September so I plan on sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing but relaxing. I am looking forward to our last vacation before school starts again which is coming up in 2 weeks.
