Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Please help... changing screen name

Okay, I am signed into my new account with a new email that I've never used and it's still posting under jodippls. What the heck am I doing wrong? I deleted my browser history but I don't know what else to do. The Nest hates me.

    Did that too. Now I can't sign in under my original email and password, it says not found. I sign in under the new name and it says "Welcome, New Name" and shows my new avatar. But I post and it's jodippls. Angry

  • Dude, this same exact thing happened to me when I tried to switch! I emailed Nest Annie a million times and she finally fixed it. I'll look through my email when I get home and see what she did to fix it and let you know tonight if you haven't gotten it fixed by then.

  • Okay IIRC try going to an empty or slow board (some random anniversary board maybe) and posting with the new SN. Somehow I think that's what worked for me after Nest Annie told me to do it. I have no idea why it worked though.
  • Gave that a try. I guess I'll just have to email The nest gods.
