Grumpy- my kids were uncharacteristically terrible today- T threw a fit in the store after breaking a plunger and me getting a new one and putting it where he couldn't reach it. The fit continued until he napped 45 minutes later. Yea, all over a damn plunger. Also, I had fight with my dad, where I was probably not as nice as I should have been- I worry where we stand now.

I shouldn't laugh at this, but I did.  I'm sorry.  Stick out tongue

Try not to feel too bad... we've all been there.  How old is T? Emma is a little angel for the most part, but every once in a while we'll have an issue like this as well and it's like "where in the H did that come from?!"

Whenever I have a random fight with my Mom, I get in a funk myself.  Hopefully you're able to work things out with your Dad soon.

Hopeful- we received an offer on our house in B'lo, but with the relocation stuff, we have to run the offer by them first. We're unsure if we can accept it/if we'll lose money/we can still make the $ we hoped to. It's a mess, but I'm hopeful the relocation people will tell us good news. We need this house out from under us!

Ooooh, that's really good news!! Is this offer from the same people that viewed it a week or so ago? Hopefully it all works out with the relocation aspect and you're able to move on from it all.  I know how stressful that whole situation can be.

Scared- My dad just started testing for Parkinson's/Alzheimers. He started today with memory testing. My dad said he feels he failed miserably. He asked me a lot of questions I couldn't answer (that he was asked during the test) but some of the obvious stuff he should have known/remembered, he said he was all confused on.  My dad's health has taken a huge decline recently and I hate being so far from him. I guess I need to turn this 'scared' into 'hopeful' for positive test results/treatable results.

I can't even imagine how hard that must be, having his health decline period and then not being close to help out. Does he  live in NY? Thoughts and prayers are with him and you both.  When will you find out any results from the testing?

Re: **Mere**

  • thanks, you can laugh, I am today :)  He never has fits like that for so long. He apologized for his behavior too, which was nice to hear.
I'm not sure if it's the same people from a week or so ago. We had an open house over the weekend and 3 people ask for the paperwork from our agent. I'm assuming it's 1 of those people. Our agent called the other people and said we had an offer so if they wanted to make an offer, they didnt to act now. We're hopeful to get a few more that we can choose the best one!
My dad and I talked again this mornig and we're good. He's acting like nothing happened but I apologized and let the argument go.
He's in NY, where the rest of my family is, so at least he's close to them. They aren't all very helpful, especially my sister who lives with them- she causes more problems than positives it seems. (that was what our fight was about yesterday!)

Thanks for thoughts and prayers. I'm not sure when we'll know results. It sounds like it's a long period of testing.  Yesterdays test was supposed to be 2 hours but they only did 45 minutes. :(  I'm not sure if it's because my dad couldn't do 2 hours and the dr realized that, or if the dr just didnt have the 2 hours open to complete the testing.
