Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. How long would you wait?
DH called a contractor on Tuesday to give us an estimate to straighten a beam in our garage that holds up our attic storage. The guy didn't call back until yesterday, and said he'd be over at 11am today. DH is at training all day so I said I'd stay home.
It's now 12:20.
I have errands to run (like finding scrubs my ever-expanding butt will fit into so I don't look inappropriate at work tomorrow), and when DH gets home around 5, we're going to the ILs to drop off some things, and we'll be busy with dinner, etc., after that. I don't have the guy's phone number or any way to get a hold of DH to ask him for it.
What is a reasonable time frame to wait for this guy?

BFP 6/18/11, missed m/c 8/16/11 at 11w2d, D&C 8/17/11, diagnosis: baby girl with Trisomy 21
BFP 5/29/12, healthy baby boy born 2/12/13 at 40w5d

Oh duh, I never thought of caller ID.
I called the number back and no one answered, so I left a bitchy voicemail, told him I'd be home for another hour, otherwise we need to reschedule.
And I think I'm going to tell DH not to hire this guy. This type of stuff really pisses me off and makes me not want to use them for business.

That was my thinking too.
It's now 1:30, no return phone call. I'm leaving to run my errands. I left my cell number and house number on the guy's voicemail, so he can certainly call me if he decides to show, but 2.5 hours is ridiculous.
