I can't believe it's all done. Now we just have to baby this lawn so it can come in nice and strong. DH is already looking into getting a riding mower for next year. And, our neighbors are looking into getting a decorative wishing well (or something along those lines) to cover up the exhaust pipe which is now exposed (you can kind of see it on the left side of this picture).
I'll be leaving the planting beds directly in front of the house empty for the time being. And, at this point, I'm expecting to plant there sometime next year. That gives me 8+ months before I have to decide what I want there!

Re: Hydroseeding is done. PIP
Sorry Amy, but the mister of this house will shoot you down if you suggest any major flowering bushes/plants! Severe bee/wasp/stingy-thingy phobia! I've also seen too many hydrangeas that have gotten way out of hand, and that's the type of planting that we just cleared (we had azaleas and boxwoods, and something else in there). The azaleas attracted so many wasps and bees that my husband was very reluctant to go outside and mow the lawn during the few weeks that they were at peak bloom. They were huge and unkempt even before we bought the house.
I might manage to plant a bulb garden over by the wall though... and we still have the rear hill to contend with. So, we'll see!
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
