software vs long hand?

Hi everyone-
I am debating on a business choice, any advice would be very helpful.
This software can track everything and allow me to run reports, CRM, see trends all sorts of good stuff.
or
I enter all the same information by hand into an excel spreadsheet and run the same reports and find the same information.
thoughts?
