But I see you're still here in the refugee camp. DH says the uber-slowness of the Knot is due to them having to much dayum advertising/pop-up/video crap on the site for their measly bandwidth. I have no clue what that means but since he teaches this schit @ the college level I kinda trust him. So what's new?

I don't think it's just that, though that's probably a large part of it. They're trying to do some new formatting and they're probably using a larger part of their servers to have that running, though it's not up yet. So less server room = less room to run the stuff it usually was = crashes. Fun times.
It's just like WoW only worse.
