a funny thing about Project Runway

OK, some of you probably don't know why my son's face is blurred in all of my sig pics.  We are in the process of adopting him through the foster care system.  He has been with us for 2.5 years.  Since he is not legally ours, we can not show his face on the web.

Anyway, he is Korean /Puerto Rican - but has blonde(ish) hair and blue eyes.  But, his eyes are almond shaped, and has other characteristics that are "asian"

Well, every time I look at Oliver, I think to myself that it is what my son might look like when he gets older.  I guess the blonde hair on him gets me wondering lol

This promo pic is the one that I keep going back to.

Re: a funny thing about Project Runway

  • That's so funny.  I was adopted, and grew up in an Irish Catholic family, but I was a brunette who tanned well (italian, creole, portugese blood) so I always wondered what my birthparents looked like.

Oh and we are neighbors!  I live in Warren Cty too.

I live in Washington - where are you?  YOu can type in code if you don't want to say it on the boards

  • We are up in Hardwick.  Not too worried about anyone finding me as we are in the middle of nowhere!!

I am gonna start teaching him an indian/austrian accent - really throw people off.  lol

(NOTE: I just randomly picked two different sounding accents)

  • Congrats on the adoption!
