Big Brother fans - a few questions
This is my first season to watch the show.
1st - what the heck does Brendan see in Rachel? Is he crazier than he is letting on this season? He seems so great and down to earth, and she is completely insane!
2nd - in the HOH room, what are the contestants always looking up at? They are always looking up and away like they're watching for cues or something. Makes it feel like producers are feeding them lines or something. Is there some screen where they are watching other housemates or something in there?

1) Brendon is totally controlling. He doesn't like Rachel talking with anyone but him. He wanted to control her game play completely. It's gross. I like him better than Rachel, and that's not saying much. Both are irritating, and I hate how the show focused so much on their relationship.
Brendon would've had a better chance of making it far in the game. Rachel has none. I have to think/hope she's gone this week.
They were totally annoying last season and this season. You know about Brendon skype-ing his private parts and apologizing, right? Get on YouTube and put "Brendon apology."
2) I never noticed this. They're not looking for cues. I don't know about you or anyone else, but I HATE the "who wants to see my HOH room?"
I'm also irritated that I keep trying to register on cbs.com to vote for Cassi, and I can't it no matter what. I'm tried two different usernames and two email accounts. I don't want to have to use my home account.
They are looking up at the screen which shows camera views from different parts of the house. When it was first introduced on the show, they had a remote control that could switch the views. I think specifically they are checking to make sure no one is right outside the HOH door.
I think Brendon adn Rachel are both crazy (her admittingly a bit more) if you go back to the season they fell "in love" you'll see the same annoying mushy crap that I can't help but laugh at

Appearances can be deceiving and I'm not making excuses for the hot mess that is Rachel, but Brendon is a disgusting excuse for a man who uses emotional warfare to break Rachel down. That is, when he's not flashing his d*ck to strangers on Skype. Google it.

They intro'd the spy screen many seasons ago. It used to be in a secret panel in the wall, but now it's just out in the open. But I don't think there's any audio to it, because it would interfere with what their mics pick up.

Okay, sounds like there is definitely a lot of Brendan crazy that I didn't know about! Now that makes me sad for Rachel if he's skeevy and controlling. She's just annoying but no one deserves that!

I definitely agree with this. I'm glad someone besides me sees it because my husband just doesn't see it.
I have to agree with PP. I think Rachel is a very emotionally fragile person, and Brendon feeds into that and is very controlling. Unfortunately I have known some IRL couples like that too. Although I want her out this week since she's irritating, if she does stay around I'll be curious to see how she does on her own. She is a strong competitor. If her voice weren't so annoying with that sing-songy thing that she does, she might actually be tolerable without Brendon around. But I have a feeling with Kalia in HOH that she will gone this week unless she wins POV.
I never noticed the HOH thing - maybe they are looking at the cameras?
