DOTD - the weekend edition

Today's question: "Have you ever called on a psychic to get you through the day?"

No - not unless that's a euphemism for a bottle of wine.Wink

Never been to a psychic, or palm reader, or fortune teller, or tarot card reader, or anything like that. I don't get it enough to want to spend the money on it.

  • nope. but i've had my tarot cards done a few times by friends (read: FREE)

  • Nope. I do call on cocktails to drown in after a bad day though!
  • No. But I use to love all that type of stuff--palm readers, tarot cards, etc. In fact, I once did a (very amateur) tarot card reading for one of my residents when I was an RA in college. lol.

  • No, it kinda scares me. What if I got bad news? I'm not the type who could just laugh it off.
  • I've been to a psychic once, and a tarot card reader twice - all for fun.

But, while I was there, I did ask serious questions!  :)  LOL.  Actually, the tarot card reader steered me toward this job (I was choosing between 2 at the time).  She also said I'd marry a foreigner.  Someone she could see on a beach.  Maybe Spain or the Caribbean.  LOL.  (DH was nowhere on the radar screen at that point...  I was looking more for the Spanish guy... haha.)

ME TOO!  There is one on Route 1 in College Park that I pass alllll the time (and we always said was a brothel when were were in college) and I always want to stop and see.

  • No, I don't believe in psychics.
  • Nope, I've never been.  I'd be curious to do it just for fun, but am probably too cheap to ever actually go through with it (unless a group of friends wanted to go or something).

  • I've never needed a psychic, but I think it's fun to go every once in awhile, usually after a few beers at things like Rennaissance festivals. Unfortunately because of the beers I usually don't remember much of what was said!
