Ann Taylor Loft Sizing vs Old Navy/Gap

If I wear an 18 in Old Navy Gap Pants would an 18 fit in Ann Taylor Lofts pants? I would like to try other brands because Gap/Old Navy clothes do not last long and are not very good quality. Thank you

Re: Ann Taylor Loft Sizing vs Old Navy/Gap

  • I wear a petite size so I'm not sure this will help but I find old navy sizes to be a bit bigger than Loft/ the Gap.

  • I find that I can fit in smaller sizes with Ann Taylor Loft than with Gap. But it really depends on the pants and if they stretch at all or not.

  • I think it entirely depends on the cut of the pant. I wear a size 14 in GAP's dress pants, but most of the time, I can't fit into a 14 pant at Ann Taylor Loft. At Ann Taylor I could, but I find that Loft sizes run a little smaller. So I opt for a 16 there. However, if they're more a traditional cut pant than a modern cut, I would say the same size might work.
