rise of the planet of the apes (no spoilers)
This was surprisingly good- the CGI was done very well and gave the apes a lot of emotion. From the previews, I expected it would be primarily a battle between apes and humans, but it was a lot more about the cause of the apes' intelligence, and the first smart ape. It was much much much much better than the 2001 Tim Burton crap-fest, and better than a lot of this summer's movies.
I really enjoyed it, and recommend it.
Re: rise of the planet of the apes (no spoilers)
I've read only good things about it. I will definitely go check it out.
Is it gory/super scary? That doesn't seemed to be addressed anywhere.
Quincy and Dexter, new BFFs
I used to be kris216.
I saw it on Saturday- I really did not want too, but went becasue DH wanted to. I ended up LOVING it! I actually cried for a minute those darn apes are so cute.
I would tell anyone to go see it, and James Franco was looking good!
