Rockland/Bergen sushi recs?
Any suggestions?
I have been very wary because I had a pretty awful experience as one of our last meals when we lived in the City but I'm ready to indulge again. I've been to that Wasabi place in Nyack but I want something more authentic!

Ditto Wild Wasabi in Norwood. And you can show up in your sweats. Very casual. But it's the BEST Sushi i've ever had too.
Oh, and it's BYOB so I usually bring a bottle of wine along.
AND we have a WINNER!
Cho Cho San(Sun?) in Nanuet on Middletown Road, all you can eat, but not buffet...ala carte ordering, and you can get as many sides as you want too (gyoza,tempura,salads,soups,teriyaki).
The ULTIMATE is Minado in Little Ferry, amazing sushi buffet...AMAZING! I go every year on my bday

ELF - random but in one of Anthony Bourdain's books he said that fish is the least fresh on Sundays and freshest on Tuesdays in most restaurants... that has always stuck out in my mind when eating fish haha... so who knows.
