I decided to go with Ulta. I'm getting their Signature Cut which includes a wash, cut, conditioning treatment, scalp massage, and style for $45.
I was going to get some highlights but I think I'll get the cut and see how I like them and then when I go back for the trim I'll get the highlights if I'm happy this time.

I dig it. I think you should totally go for the highlights too. I want a cut like that but something in me just cannot let go of long hair. It's like I'm not me if it's not well below my shoulders.
