Need moving company recs for north metro
Does anyone have any recommendations for a moving company serving the north metro area. It would consist of moving furniture and boxes from a two bedroom apartment in Shoreview to Andover/Anoka location (elevators in both locations).
TIA

We just used AAA on June 1 and they did a great job.
We used them and I would recommend them.
One hint if you call Two Men and a Truck for a quote ... each location is an individually-owned franchise and they don't all use the same pricing. For example, the prices through the Burnsville location were cheaper than the prices through the Bloomington location. So ... I would advise getting quotes from multiple locations.

Another vote for AAA Movers. Last year we had to do 2 moves, and they were fantastic on both of them. One of the moves was tricky, moving lots of stuff out of an old house with lots of nooks and crannies to move the furniture around. Not a scratch or bump on anything. In addition, it was raining cats and dogs and they had to move things to the truck despite the storm, as we had to be out of the house quickly. I was really worried there would be water damage on our wood furniture. However, everything arrived in PERFECT condition, they dried everything off the minute it got to the truck. We couldn't have been more pleased.
Also, they provide all the free boxes you want for free. You do have to pick them up and return them from their offices, but for us this was well worth it. They also provide as many free wardrobe boxes on moving day as needed, so that you can hang things from your closets during the move.
