Hey all,
I'm looking for opinions about what events should start and end my scrapbooks.:
I've been working on a LOVE Scrapbook. :-) I'm finishing my "dating" book and am going to start an "engaged time" scrapbook. Should I end book 1 with pictures of the proposal and a "WE'RE ENGAGED!" page or should I start book 2 with those pages instead?

Re: Scrapbook layout
I always do my books with the first page as a title page. The last page as a "momento" page--cards, tickets, maps, brochures etc.. I think that is important to do it in a way that you like..not what others think you should do. Your engagement could be the end of one book or the beginning of the other. It is however you want to do it. Make it your own and embrace imperfection.

My scrapbook usually start with the title page and then I go in order of what happened.
On trip scrapbooks I start with title page and then scrap what happened day by day. The last page I try to use it as my "momento" page like pp said.
I am working on my pregnancy scrapbook now and it really is not going in order. I started off with title page, how we found out, pictures of weekly bump, finding out gender, pictures when we go to L&D, nursery pictures, shower pictures, craft pictures, and a few other things. I just did the pages how I felt and didn't really go in order of anything.
Like pp said go however you feel like. There is really not a right or wrong way to do a scrapbook. It is really how you like it and just make it your own. You can probably google and get some ideas but just go with how you feel.
I started a scrapbook for my husband during our first year of dating. The first page is just decorative and holds the card I gave him with the scrapbook on our one-year dating anniversary. The last page is our engagement story - my version and his.
With my high school and college scrapbooks, the first page is a title with miscellaneous pictures I had leftover, and the last page is a pocket to hold mementos.
