which I bought in the local grocery store at close to American prices. You may all be jealous now.
Re: I'm eating Cheez-Its
I can't believe there are Cheez-Its in KL and I didn't know! I would have stocked up, they are my absolute favorite.
I tried to get the American store near my flat in London to stock them but they said they couldn't import them because their expiration date was too short and they'd be expired by the time they arrived in the UK. LIARS!
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Where's this American store? Is it the "candy store" in Covent Gardens?
Not sure what store pp is talking about but for American food, check out Panzers in St Johns Wood. Also, the Budgens in Belsize Park has a small American section - I noticed American cereal, Snyder's flavored pretzels, and kettle corn, as well as a bunch of baking stuff.
Partridges carries American food as well. http://www.partridges.co.uk/index.php/fuseaction/shop.category/categoryid/15
Quite a few of us have ordered from http://www.americansweets.co.uk/ (They also have a shop outside of London. I dropped quite a bit of cash out there when I visited last summer!)
How to Play House blog
I'm 99% sure I'll be going up to PP in early September. I can bring a box with me if you'd like.
The one nearest my place was on the corner of Ladbroke Grove and Holland Park Ave, not far from the Holland Park tube. There wasn't too much selection, but they have things like goldfish crackers and bisquick.
There's a photo in my blog - it looks like a standard shopfront but there's a little sign above it.

You would immediately skyrocket to the top of my "favorite people on earth" list.
