I am a little tired from flying all day yesterday. The baby was less than pleased with the flight and had me puking the whole time which was not pleasant. but of course the minute we were back on the ground i was fine. Happy to be home.
I was in NY all weekend for my uncle's wedding. It was great to see my extended family that I rarely see. It was stressful as always to be with my older sister. Happily its over and I won't see her for at least another year.
OMG there was so much food at this wedding. Between the rehearsal the actual cocktail hour and reception and the brunch I couldn't choose. It was SOOOO much food. But if I had to choose it would be the entree at the reception which was a perfectly cooked chateaubriand. so yummy!
How are you? Pretty good, as I am still sitting in bed! I have another week and a day before going back to work.
What did you do this weekend that was fun? H and I had dinner with a bunch of family friends on Friday. There's one family who has a gorgeous house in Saratoga and we go there a lot for birthday dinners and such. Other than that, nothing super exciting this weekend, just cleaning the apartment, fixing computers, and lesson planning.
What's the best thing you ate this past weekend? We went to Elephant Bar for lunch after church yesterday... yum!

How are you? Feeling yuckie, I took the day off because E's change of job plans and future stuff caused my IBS to flare and I didn't sleep. And I have to go through boxes and find his HS diploma and DD214 for a meeting he has tonight with an advisor for school. But cuddling on the couch with the puppers helps
What did you do this weekend that was fun? Really nothing. A friend and her H stopped by to see our house and I made dinner both nights and baked cookies.

What did you do this weekend that was fun? I played soccer yesterday and had lunch with a few teammates after.
What's the best thing you ate this past weekend? Probably my sandwich yesterday-mozzarella, basil, pesto, and tomatoes on foccaccia (from Pluto's). My fave!How are you? Sleepy. Wishing I was still cuddled up in bed. Otherwise, not too bad. Hoping this week goes by quickly.
What did you do this weekend that was fun? I watched the hubby shoot in a competition. He won first place out of 52 shooters. It was a 1000 Yard match and I was so freaking proud of him yesterday. We also went to a comedy club with some friends on saturday night. It was great getting to just laugh my arse off for 2 hours.
What's the best thing you ate this past weekend? We had dinner at a friends last night and she made homemade mac and cheese. People were practically fighting over the bowl.
I am doing well, a little tired from the weekend. Typical Monday.
My parents visited from Monterey. We saw the new Picasso exhibit at the De Young museum and then went to the Giants game (we won!).
I ate two really good things. I made my first frittata ever and it was so good! I also baked banana bread and it was delicious. I am munching on some right now

on friday we went to the movies to see The Change Up (jason bateman & ryan reynolds) it was pretty freaken hilarious!
saturday was my cousins baby shower, then that evening me & the hubby went to a bar for a few drinks.
yesterday, went to visit the parentals and had lunch. my niece was also there with her cute little chunky adorable 8 month old.
best thing i ate---hmm, it's a tie between the beef tongue tacos my mom made for lunch & the sushi me & the hubby had for dinner last night

How are you? Aside from AF arriving, I'm okay.
What did you do this weekend that was fun? I wouldn't exactly call this fun but I got a wooden plant stand from MIL that was ready for paint so I bought two samples of paint at HD (only needed 1 really, oops) and painted it. It's a robin's egg color and looks really good, IMO at least. Also took our dog on a hike yesterday at the Contra Loma reservoir.
What's the best thing you ate this past weekend? It's a tie between the mangoes from Costco, watermelon from TJ's or the fresh sweet corn on the cob I got from one of many farm stands out here.

How are you? I've been better for sure. It was a tough wknd with DH. He's so tired of being cooped up in bed. It's been almost a week now. The sore is healing but it just takes a long time.
What did you do this weekend that was fun? No. The closest would be that I had a nice walk to the drug store at sunset on Fri and Sat evening.

We went to a health/fitness fair. Lots of fun.
I made guac yesterday evening, which was by far the most satisfying food of the entire weekend.

We were supposed to take a last-minute getaway this past weekend, but of course that didn't happen, so we drove up to Bass Lake for dinner.
Had the most amazing spinach artichoke dip with a glass of Reisling at the restaurant there.
