I have a friend coming over to my office to meet me today and I'm trying to figure out where we should go. Requirements: 1) enough tables where we could sit down and eat 2) I started a diet today so a place with salads and nonfat/lowfat dressings or other healthy options and 3) able to get in there today, with our without a reservation.
Can you tell I usually brown-bag it?

Re: Lunch near 18th & M
Nooshi and Mai Thai are both Asian, but have lower fat options. Nooshi sometimes has a wait, but not too long. I've never had to wait at Mai Thai.
I personally feel like Vapiano takes forever.
For a little more upscale, M Street Bar & Grill has good salads and little or no wait.
