what's a good time for STD's?
save-the-dates, of course.
my h and i have a holiday/turkey party every year with our friends...it started out small, and really "no-big-deal"..but it's gotten bigger every year. we had about 38+ people in attendance last year. i want to make sure it's just as big this year, since everyone had a good time, and it was just FUN to have so many of our friends in one place at one time....
i want to send out save-the-dates, because i like to plan-ahead. i understand most people don't plan this far in advance, but i want to be "the first" of the holiday parties, so that we don't lose as many guests to other events.
when is a good time to send STD's for a mid december party?

I agree that if most of them are for locals, day after Halloween at the earliest. If people are coming from out of town, I suppose a little earlier wouldn't hurt.
