$15,000-20,000????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good Lord! What all did you move?! We moved from PA-TX in July with United Van Lines and it was between $5000-10,000. This was around 2000 square feet and 3 floors.
Was you pricing for local or state-state?
We used United Van lines coming from Arizona to here. It was paid for by DH's company...but I saw the invoices and it was $9500. They packed every.single.item in 3 sheets of paper, and put like 10 items per box. We had 115 boxes total & we had a 3 bed 2 bath house. So wasteful.
It was nice not having to lift a finger, but the downside was how long it took for our stuff to arrive (1 week 3 days), & they didnt unpack anything & it took forever going thru all the boxes, which were unlabeled.
If I had to do it again, I would..only if someone else picked up the tab.
