Well we were supposed to close today...
... but we found out about 2 hours before the scheduled closing that the bank neglected to send our file from underwriting to closing. I was ensured that everything was in order last week, they even had an extra week due to the closing date being pushed back because of dh's working out of town. This whole process has been a nightmare. It's really sucked the excitment out of buying our first home together. Can't wait to get it over with!

Thanks. Yep- tomorrow. But we weren't able to rearrange it around everyone's schedule so we are signing at 10:30 tomorrow morning because our lawyer was not available in the afternoon and the sellers are signing at 4PM because he can't take off work. Ah well, as long as I can say I'm a homeowner at some point tomorrow I'm going to try to put all this negativity behind us.
That stinks! After all is said and done though you're going to have keys tomorrow so get excited! You're about to be a homeowner
