I saw that you are running in a 5k this weekend. Which one are you running in? After doing the Memorial marathon run, I love racing!!! Although, I haven't done any since June, because it's just too dang hot outside.

Thanks! FIL works for OG&E and they're having a big Expo Saturday for employees and their families. They're having the 5k that morning. I'm pretty nervous about it, but I think I'll do okay. I ran on the treadmill last night and was planning on just running for 25 minutes (that's the longest I have run so far) but ended up doing 3.1 miles in just under 40 minutes! I think that boosted my confidence a bit. Hopefully I can do it outside in the heat. I've been doing most of my runs outside in the heat, but nothing longer than 25 minutes. I guess we'll see!
I'm impressed with your full-marathon running! I don't think I'll ever be able to run that long haha! Especially on a day like the Memorial marathon this year. Ick, I don't think I would've even made it to the start line haha.

Oh girl, I didn't run the full. I only did the half. I don't think I will ever want to do a full. Yikes!!!!! The memorial run this past year was HORRIBLE! I have never in my life been so miserable. I couldn't feel my fingers or toes. I was soaked head to toe. AWFUL!
Anyway, since you've already ran, congrats!!! You did awesome on your first 5k!!!!
