A little bored this afternoon and the tattoo post got me thinking.........[Poll]
Re: Clicky Poll: Tattoo
I'm right there with you!
AND .... CONGRATS!!!! I had no idea!
no. maybe next year when i'm 25.
i've thought about getting soemthing small (probably on my wrist) but i doubt i will ever do it.
Thanks!
We are too but I love them on other people.
I had an intricate design worked out for years but could never commit. DH is anti-tattoo so I guess I'm glad I didn't do it. (And it would have been a tramp stamp).
I'm glad DH never got one. It'd probably be a Republican flag or a Lone Star bottle and then I couldn't have married him.

this exactly
FIL has a big state of Texas colored in like the Texas flag.
LOL - That wouldn't actually bother me at all. I love Texas. I love our flag. I love our lone star attitude in many ways - just not lone star beer. Or any other beer bottle tattoo. I'm an equal opportunity anti-beer bottle tattoo girl.

No and don't plan on getting one. I have a crazy fear of needles; I get dizzy and turn white at the sight of one (yes, I have 2 kids- ironic isn't it?)
A group of gfs and I went to NOLA for Mardi Gras during college and I was the only one who didn't get one because I fainted.
My bf in college's initials were letters on the periodic table. She had the elements drawn out and tattooed on her.

I don't have any. I've thought about it (for about a total of 20 seconds in my life) but can't think of anything I'd want to keep with me forever on my body. The 20 seconds of my life was thinking of something cute i could get that would represent my two kids that i'd get somewhere no one would see. but what represents a 4 year old and a 16 month old? maybe when they're older!??! i dunno.
DH has two pretty big ones on both of his arms (upper arms, usually covered by his shirt sleeve). one is a firefighter symbol (i think a maltese cross but can't even think) that says "professional firefighter" and the other is a helmet with blue flame wrap around. under his arm (raise his arm up) it says 343- the # of firemen that died on 9/11. he got that one the day after i first talked to him on the phone.
i use to laugh at him and say "well thank God if someone finds you passed out somewhere, they'll know you're a professional fireman".
Is it weird that I'm sort of insanely jealous of this?
my DH is also anti-tattoo... oh well!
i tire of things easily, but have never gotten tired of the tattoos. they kind of become part of your body that you're used to seeing.
if i get closer to a goal weight/shape that involves less backfat, i would love to have something in the between-the-shoulderblades area.

I voted NO.
I think art is for hanging on a wall, not my skin. Plus I change my mind roughly every 5 seconds..so I would regret it instantly.
DH doesnt have any either.
I have 1 and would have more if I could decide what I want.
DH has no objections to ME having them, but he has none himself.
The one I do have has a lot of significance to it. My BFF and I have matching tattoos in different colors (mine blue/green, hers pink/purple) and we had them done together. I never have and I doubt I ever will regret having it.
Hole Cow, I didnt know either! Congrats!
I have 2. I want 4-5 more. FI has 3 and wants at least 2 more as well.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
OMG! This is me. I don't think I could ever walk into one of those places... and DH has to take the kids for anything involving a shot. Also, I can't think of anything I like some much that I'd want it on my body forever... Dh doesn't have any either, and I hope he never gets one.
