How much makeup do you wear? Or don't?
Inspired by a discussion over on MM and the twirliegirl blog that some of them started.
I guess I never thought I wore a lot, but maybe I wear more than normal. My summer routine is:
moisturizer
Neutrogena healthy skin (which is a bit more than a tinted moisturizer)
Powder
Blush
Eye primer
Mascara
About 4 colors of eyeshadow
UD setting spray
Sometimes I do eyeliner, sometimes not. Also I haven't been using primer, but I need to get back to it, now that my skin has evened out from the IUD.
Also on the wknds/Fridays off I don't always wear makeup, only if going out.

The few times I have worn make-up (weddings and military balls) I have had someone else do it for me.
ETA: To clarify, I only wear make-up for weddings when I am in them.
I've never worn anything more than mascara.
I refuse to wear lipstick because I don't like to draw attention to my teeth (still self-conscious from my pre-braces days), and anything else on my face (powder, eye shadow, etc), makes me itch like crazy.

It takes me 5-6 minutes to put on:
-foundation (primer underneath if I feel like taking the extra step)
-3 eye colors
-mascara (always curl my lashes)
-blush
*I'll wear tinted lip gloss if I have a big meeting or I feel bored in traffic and think to put it on*
I always wear sunscreen (MK Day Solution), moisturizer and eye primer but none of that is makeup but it's part of my morning routine.
I usually don't wear makeup on the weekends for the grocery store and errands like that but will if we're going out to eat lunch or dinner. I definitely don't if we aren't leaving the house.
Typically (work, errands, hanging around home, etc) just moisturizer, or anti aging serum.
If I'm seeing friends, or family, I add on Mascara.
If I know pictures will be taken in a casual setting, I'll wear some blush and eyeshadow.
If its a dress up occasion, like going to a musical, or wedding or something, add on foundation.

Me in Sephora is like a kid in a candy store. LOVE makeup.
I change up what I do each day, but usually it looks like this (and takes all of 7 minutes)
Foundation
Brows
2-4 shades of eyeshadow, depending on the day/look
eye liner (MAC eye kohl)
mascara
little bit of bronzer swooped over the cheeks, eyes and corners of forehead
highlighter on cheeks, brows & cupids bow.
lip gloss, usually in a really light nude, pink or clear, just for some shininess.
BFP on 2.2.11
Lindsay-the closest real sephora to me is a hour away! I have to make do with the ones inside JCP's or online. Ulta just isn't the same!

I put a pea-sized amount of moisturizer with sunscreen on my face within 30 seconds of getting out of the shower, since my face dries tight, and I need both the moisturizer and the SPF on a regular basis.
That's my whole routine about 340 days a year.
On "special occasions" or days where I'm "dressed up" for work (presenting to senior leaders or something, and need to appear my age and not give the impression I'm much younger than I am), I'll wear a slight swipe of eyeliner on both lids, some mascara, a dusting of a pale eyeshadow, a little blush, and a slightly deeper-than-lip-color lipstick.
All that said, the only other aspect of face-grooming I engage in regularly is that I twease my eyebrows at least 4-5 times a week to keep them looking perfect.
I'm a makeup junkie. I have seriously low to no will power when it comes to this stuff. My every day routine is:
tinted moisturizer w/ SPF, eye cream, mineral powder foundation, blush, 2-3 eye shadow colors, mascara, tinted lip balm or lip gloss
For going out I'll add eye liner and lipstick instead of lip balm/gloss.
I grew up with my mom always being put together, and I just feel better when I take a little extra time on me in the morning.

Rarely lipstick or gloss. Nick and I are very kissy in the morning before we leave so I never put it on and then I'm always drinking something in the car so I don't want to leave it on my cup
I do this about 6-7 days out of the week. I can't stand to be seen without my make-up on. I'm very self concious about my uneven skin.

I know what you mean! I want to love Ulta, there's one right beside of us (Sephora is just 15 mins away) but every time I go to Ulta... it's just not the same. I like a lot of there stuff, but I swear I think I get a high when I go to Sephora, lol!
