Nesty vibes, possible new job
Progressive insurance has a big cooperate center not too far from me. My dad read in the newspaper that they are hiring 130-ish new customer service reps.
I applied online and last night got an email to take a skills/personality/noticing trends test on the computer. It was kinda hard, and I had to guess on some answers, but I must have done alright because I got an email this morning saying I passed and that I will be contacted for a phone interview. I don't know if that really means I'm any closer than anyone else who applied, but it's something I guess.
The job will be taking customer calls and assisting to file claims.. It's 1:00 PM ? 10:00 PM; Monday, Tuesday, Friday and either Saturday or Sunday, plus one additional day. And $12-$15/hr depending on experience and it's full time.
I wouldn't say it's my dream job, but it's better than the one I have, and really I'm just looking to work until DH and I have our debts (except the house) paid off so we can start our family. After that I would stay home.
