Austin Question
I posted on their board but it's not all that busy... thought I'd repost here in case anyone has been out that direction in the past couple of weeks or knows someone who lives there...
We're headed to Dripping Springs this coming weekend for a little family vacay/my birthday. I know they are suffering from the drought like we are... but I'm still hopeful there will be someplace we can cool off. Any swimming holes left, within about an hour of Dripping Springs, that are worthwhile? No kids, just adults. We would love to tube if possible anywhere (spring fed rather than rain driven rivers?).
Also open to other recs of shopping/activities/eating if anyone has any

We got married in Dripping Springs!
Not sure how far it is from Dripping Springs but you might check out Hamilton Pool. When I lived in Austin it was a really cool place to go. You have to hike a little bit to it though. You can google it to get info.
Dripping Springs is only about 30 min from Austin so Barton Creek is still good.
