Busu busy busy. My boss is still on vacation this week, which means a lot of the things he'd normally do fall to me. Fun!
Today is clean up my desk day (we've got 2 tours coming through tomorrow and it's a mess) and a general get-word-done type day. I'm not as tired as yesterday, so it should be doable!
No real plans for tonight, so I think I'll make myself go workout. Sometimes having a gym in the basement is a bad thing!

Morning!
I have a lot to do today and not much motivation to do it. I need to go for a run, work on my paper for my class that is due Thursday (really Friday, but we're going out of town), mow the lawn, and go grocery shopping.
Yesterday was fun though. I went shopping with two friends from school and got a few new clothes for school and two new pairs of running socks (which I am more excited about than the actual clothes!). We shopped for a good 8 hours on not much sleep, so I was completely exhausted when I got home. Ed and I went to grab ice cream for an anniversary treat and then went to bed.

Not a good day for me. Between the markets tanking and the London riots, my concentration level at work is pretty low. I was up late last night watching in horror and shock as the riots have spread and worried about where they were going next. I am so mad at the stupid kids that are doing this and the complete pointlessness of it all. Yes, they're upset with the falling economy, unemployment, etc., but they are not helping anything at all by looting, burning, and attacking the communities in which they live. They have destroyed peoples homes and livelihoods without a second thought. It makes me sick. I love this city, and I hate to see it destroyed like this.
Sorry, didn't mean to go off on a tangent there. I really hope that things calm down, but from what I've heard, they are expecting it to continue on tonight. Please send vibes that things get under control here soon.

I hear you. I just don't get rioting. The stupidness that went down in Toronto for the G20 made me feel the same way. Stay safe!

Well, that cool hike up a 14,000 foot peak Sunday has caused my legs to be so sore I can barely walk. Going up stairs is slow and painful. I need a massage.
Other than that, it's just work.

No real plans for today, at some point we B's mom is going to stop by to drop something off. I'm going to the gym for a few hours later today I think. I'd like to make it to a beach sometime this week, it doesn't feel like summer if I don't make it to a beach.
the last few weeks have been crazy busy at work. I have been dealing with end of the mont, first of the month, plus computer problems. I don't see any end in sight since at this point I am behind. I am using this week to get caught up and maybe ahead if possible.
Nothing special last night. I got meals started and sorted for the week. I got laundry and dishes done. Tonight will be much of the same and I am hoping to clean my car out.

Nothing special here. We set up our tent lastnight so that it can dry out today, then we will take down again tonight. PITA, but it had to be done. I also finished up some laundry.
Ryan just called and Christian's u/s went well so now we wait for the surgery in 2 weeks. I am anxious to hear what type of surgery they will be performing.

Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Good morning!
Last night was really nice, I made us a nice Italian dinner and we ate out on the patio. After that we looked through a bunch of our wedding pictures and honeymoon pictures and had some cake and champagne (in our wedding toasting flutes), then exchanged gifts. It was really low key but perfect.
Nothing exciting today, we're short staffed today so I'm guessing it will be a busy hectic day.

Good Morning, last night I spent the night on the floor of the nursery trying to comfort my poor gassy little boy who was refusing to sleep. I tried everything I could think of.
So today I'm exhausted and don't have much of anything planned so I think it'll be family nap time at some point.
Morning, all. Doing okay today--last night we just ate dinner and relaxed, so it was quiet and pleasant. We did get a phone call from H's cousin--her daughter is having her bat mitzvah at the end of the month and we said we'd come. She left a message asking us if we'd like to dress the Torah. H plans on accepting, but is going to mention to his cousin that we're not Jewish (he was raised as Jewish, but doesn't believe). Googling gave us conflicting info about whether we could do it, so we'll see. The last thing I want to do is offend--I respect religious devotion even if I don't believe. It's nice to be asked, though.
Well, back to work. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
I'm hiding out today. I think that my boss must not be in again today, because it's after 11:00 and he hasn't come through my closed office door yet.
I've got some work that really needs to get done today, but so far, I've just been piddling around on the internet.

Morning! We got back late last night from our beach vacation, and celebrated our anniversary by toasting with our special champagne glasses and exchanging cards. We had a nice dinner while on vacation to celebrate as well.
I have off today, and if I can get motivated, plan to do laundry, clean, and go food shopping. We are supposed to have a softball game tonight, but they are calling for heavy thunderstorms, so I am thinking it will get rained out.

Morning ladies. I've spent most of the morning doing some online shopping but now I've gotten it into gear, mostly anyway. We'll be leaving to visit an offsite location in a bit and then heading out to lunch afterwards.
Tonight FIL is coming over to help DH with some stuff around the house. I'll likely just hang out and go for a walk with Olivia and Bailey while they do their thing.
Today was okay. Another busy work day with 2 hours of over time. We had a staff meeting with HR about our lack of raises over the last 3 years.
Now I'm home and trying to get motivated to go to the gym. I wanted to go to a spin class but got home too late for one with a good instructor. The 7pm class doesn't have a good instructor. I might just go on the elliptical.
