i'm taking h's cousin on a blind date today. (not really a date, just for fun). friend of a friend wants to meet her because he likes chinese girls, she likes white guys...match made in heaven, right? lol.

other than that, i don't have a lot going on today. i slept away most my day yesterday, other than a costco-pit-stop. 10 minutes and 75 dollars later....ugh. can never get out of costco with under $50.

Good morning. I'm at work. I have 3 library tours for Japanese middle school students who are visiting. This afternoon I have a horrible meeting taking about "how the librarians can communicate and work together better." Kill me now. I am wearing a new sweater and new shoes, so I'm trying to use that to lift my spirits.

Tomorrow is the last day I am working in the library this summer, but I work advising new students through the end of August. So much for my break, I'll be on campus ever Monday-Thursday. Sometimes for just 2-3 hours, which hardly makes it worth the effort.

Eh - I don't have it in me today. I think I'll keep craigslist open on my phone all day.

DH just sent me his airline miles statement, he needs one more flight on continental to keep his MVP status, and now I want to go on another vacation. dam him.

I'm in a meh-angry mood too, today. I took a "sick day" yesterday to do date-type stuff with H since I have a ton of PTO hours to use at work and H has Mondays off. Well, we watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but other than that.... nada. H wanted to spend the day reading the third book in the Game of Thrones series.... all freaking day. There is a whole lot of Wilted Flower

in his future..... Angry

I get that he finds those books addicting, but it's still frustrating!

Good morning! I hope today is better than yesterday. Long work day and I was grumpy for most of it. Dislike.

Today is another 10 hours and I still have a ton of inventory to go through. Sigh...who wants to come over and help me? I can't pay you though....how bout I pay you in beer or some other beverage? Big Smile

I had my last armpit hair laser treatment this morning! My sister and I got a really good deal a couple years ago for 6 treatments. It's worked pretty well, not all gone, but we'll see how it looks after this one. It was worth it for the price we paid, but I would never pay full price for it. Otherwise, work as usual

Good EVENING!!!

Omg.. today was the longest day ever. yesterday right before i left work my computer decided to die at work. so i stayed late helping the IT people... now my computer isn't functioning fully but they were able to retrieve my emails and documents so they did a good job, IMO... but today it was super slow! and i had literally a PILE of work to do.

anyway, so i didn't get home until now and i'm so tired.

they put the listing for my job out today! it's kinda scary!
